2 tablespoons olive oil

½ medium onion
finely chopped
7 cloves garlic
chopped

1 cup honey
½ cup soy sauce
1 pinch onion powder

1 pinch garlic powder
or to taste
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the chopped garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the honey, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder, then bring to a simmer.
- Add the chicken thighs to the skillet, ensuring they’re coated with the sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the honey-soy mixture for a few hours before cooking. Adjust garlic and onion quantities to your taste.
