- 1 cup water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- ½ cup melted butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs, and mix until well blended.
- Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, cream cheese, melted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter filling over the chocolate cake batter, then use a knife to swirl it slightly for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes, then top with chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups before serving.
