Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the Devil’s Food Cake mix packaging.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until smooth.
- Prepare the Devil’s Food Cake mix according to package instructions, adding the required oil.
- Pour half of the cake batter into a greased baking pan, then spread the ricotta mixture on top of it.
- Top the ricotta layer with the remaining cake batter and bake for the time specified on the cake mix box.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package directions using whole milk, then let it set in the refrigerator.
- Once the cake is cooled, spread the chocolate pudding over the top and finish with whipped topping for decoration.
Notes
For best results, allow the cake to chill in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving to let the flavors meld.
