Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, instant yeast, minced garlic, and chopped herbs.
- Add the warm water to the dry ingredients and stir until a wet, shaggy dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel and let it rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours, or until bubbles form on the surface.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a Dutch oven with its lid inside to heat up for about 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, transfer the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball. Let it rest for about 30 minutes.
- Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven from the oven and lightly grease it with olive oil.
- Place the dough into the Dutch oven, cover it with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, until the bread is golden brown.
- Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
