Ingredients
- Pasta – Spaghetti
- fettuccine
- or penne
- Garlic – Fresh minced garlic
- Butter or Olive Oil
- Milk – Whole milk or any kind
- Parmesan Cheese – Freshly grated
- Optional – Cream cheese or sour cream
- Salt & Pepper
- Italian Seasoning
- Optional garnish – Fresh parsley or basil
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter or heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the pasta to the pot, then pour in enough milk to fully cover the pasta. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Simmer until the pasta is cooked and the liquid has thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. If using, add cream cheese or sour cream for extra richness.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil before serving.
