  • Diced

  • 2 Tablespoons Taco Seasoning
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Cup Long Grain White Rice
  • 1 1/2 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 15 Ounce Can Corn
  • Drained
  • 8 Ounces Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Salsa
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onion over medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, taco seasoning, and garlic powder.
  2. Once the beef is browned, stir in the rice, beef broth, corn, tomato sauce, and salsa.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes until rice is fully cooked.
  4. Remove from heat and sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Cover for a few minutes to melt the cheese before serving.

Notes
