Ingredients
6 medium size to small size sweet onions
1 stick of salted butter (8 tablespoons)
Garlic Salt
Onion Powder
Black Pepper
Dried Parsley
Cajun Seasoning
Paprika
6 to 8 cloves of garlic
A couple of shakes of soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and slice the sweet onions into thick rings.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic (minced) and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onions to the skillet, seasoning them with garlic salt, onion powder, black pepper, dried parsley, Cajun seasoning, and paprika. Stir well to combine.
- Drizzle a few shakes of soy sauce over the onions and toss to coat.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the onions are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
