Ingredients

- 9 cups Corn or Rice Chex
- 1 & 1/4 C. white candy melts vanilla
- 1 & 1/4 C. red candy melts vanilla
- 1 & 1/4 C. blue candy melts vanilla
- 1 C. creamy peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp. Paramount crystals
- 3 C. powdered sugar
- 1 C. Red
- white
- & blue M&M’s
- Pop Rocks optional
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the Corn or Rice Chex and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white candy melts and peanut butter together until smooth.
- Pour the melted mixture over the Chex cereal and stir until evenly coated.
- Divide the coated Chex into three bowls. Add red candy melts to one bowl, blue candy melts to another, and leave one bowl with the white mixture.
- Melt each bowl in the microwave separately, stirring until smooth, then return each to their respective bowls.
- Sprinkle the Paramount crystals into the melted candy melts for a glossy finish.
- Evenly coat each bowl with powdered sugar, then mix well to ensure coverage.
- Once cool, mix in the Red, white, & blue M&M’s and add Pop Rocks if desired.
- Serve in festive bowls or store in an airtight container.
Notes
For best results, let the coated Chex cool completely before mixing in the M&M’s. You can adjust the colors of candy melts to match your celebration theme!
