- 5 medium pears

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons cold butter
- diced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced pears with lemon juice.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add the diced cold butter to the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Place the pears in a baking dish and sprinkle the crumble mixture over the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the pears are bubbly.
Notes
Serve warm with ice cream for an extra treat. You can substitute the brown sugar with granulated sugar if preferred.
