- 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and kosher salt.
- In another bowl, beat the cold butter with the raw sugar until creamy. Then, add the heavy cream, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- To prepare the maple glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and enough cream or milk to achieve the desired consistency.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and top with additional toasted pecans as desired.
Notes
Ensure your butter is very cold for the best cookie texture. Adjust the thickness of the glaze by altering the amount of cream or milk.
