Ingredients
- Unsalted butter
- Powdered sugar
- Salt
- All-purpose flour
- White sugar
- Light brown sugar
- Eggs
- Corn syrup

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add salt and flour, mixing until just combined.
- Press the crust mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan evenly.
- Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, combine white sugar, light brown sugar, eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Fold in the pecans until they are evenly distributed throughout the filling mixture.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust and spread it evenly.
- Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly bubbly.
- Allow the bars to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
