- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple rings
- 1 (4 ounce) jar maraschino cherries
- 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- ¼ cup whole milk
- or more as needed
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a Bundt pan with cooking spray that contains flour.
- In the bottom of the prepared pan, pour melted butter and sprinkle brown sugar evenly over it.
- Arrange pineapple rings on top of the sugar mixture and place a maraschino cherry in the center of each pineapple ring.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, instant vanilla pudding mix, milk, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the cake batter over the pineapples in the Bundt pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the batter. Adjust the milk quantity if the batter seems too thick.
