- 4 ounces dark chocolate
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and dark chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the granulated sugar, followed by the whisked eggs.
- Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, combine pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Carefully pour the pumpkin mixture over the brownie layer.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the pumpkin layer is set and a toothpick comes out clean from the brownie layer.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
