- 12 ounces evaporated milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1.5 cups granulated sugar

- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin filling. Do not mix.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, covering it completely. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts or pecans if using.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
