- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup pure pumpkin
- 5 large eggs
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut the stale bread into cubes and place them in the greased baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, pure pumpkin, eggs, white sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture over the bread cubes, pressing down lightly to ensure all the bread is soaked.
- In another bowl, prepare the streusel topping by mixing the flour, brown sugar, white sugar, pumpkin pie spice, chopped pecans, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the bread mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
