- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- ¼ cup cold butter
- diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¾ cup buttermilk
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh parsley
- for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, sauté chopped onions and celery until soft.
- Add flour, chicken broth, and cream; whisk until smooth and thicken.
- Stir in cooked chicken, peas, carrots, potatoes, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, diced butter, cheese, buttermilk, and garlic powder to form the biscuit dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough on top of the chicken mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
