  • 1 (1 oz) package dry onion soup mix
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Season the stew meat with salt, black pepper, and thyme.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, dry onion soup mix, beef broth, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Place the seasoned meat in the slow cooker and pour the broth mixture over it.

  5. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, stir into the slow cooker for the last 30 minutes to thicken the gravy.
