- 1 (1 oz) package dry onion soup mix
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Season the stew meat with salt, black pepper, and thyme.
- In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, dry onion soup mix, beef broth, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Place the seasoned meat in the slow cooker and pour the broth mixture over it.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meat is tender.
- Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, stir into the slow cooker for the last 30 minutes to thicken the gravy.
