Slow Cooker Minister’s Delight is a warm and indulgent dessert combining the rich flavors of cherry pie filling with a luscious cake topping.

- 1 can 21 oz / 595 g cherry pie filling
- 1 box 15.25 oz / 432 g yellow cake mix
- ½ cup 115 g unsalted butter melted
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon optional
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving optional
Instructions
- Spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
- Pour the cherry pie filling into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the cherry pie filling.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle the ground cinnamon on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours or until the top is set and golden.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
Notes
For best results, make sure not to overcook in the slow cooker to keep the cake moist.
