- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter divided
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream full-fat
- Fresh chopped parsley optional

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in the chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, bringing it to a simmer.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and transfer to the oven.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from the oven, and stir in the sour cream and remaining tablespoon of butter.
- Serve topped with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Worcestershire sauce for a couple of hours before cooking.
