Delicious and versatile Sourdough Discard Tortillas made with leftover starter, perfect for wraps or dipping.
Ingredients

1/2 cup sourdough starter discard (room temp)
1/4 cup organic extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup warm
filtered water
1 2/3 cup organic all purpose flour
1/2 tsp fine sea salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter discard, olive oil, and warm water. Mix until well combined.
- Add the flour and salt to the mixture and stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape into balls.
- Roll each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each tortilla for about 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
- Remove from the skillet and keep warm while you cook the remaining tortillas.
Notes
These tortillas can be stored in an airtight container for a few days or frozen for longer storage.
