Description

Elevate your meal with this Spicy Garlic Chinese Zucchini recipe, featuring zoodles topped with a rich and spicy sauce.

Ingredients

  • Zucchini
  • Salt
  • Garlic
  • Coconut Aminos
  • Tahini or Nut Butter
  • Sesame Oil
  • Chili Powder
  • Chili Oil
  • Honey or Maple Syrup
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • Green Onions

Instructions

  1. Spiralize the zucchini to create zoodles and sprinkle with salt. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes to draw out moisture.
  2. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, coconut aminos, tahini or nut butter, sesame oil, chili powder, and optional chili oil. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Squeeze excess moisture from the zoodles and sauté in a pan over medium heat until just tender, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Toss the zoodles with the sauce, adjusting sweetness with honey or maple syrup if desired. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve garnished with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

Feel free to customize the heat level by adjusting the chili powder or adding more chili oil to taste.
