Description

Refreshing and vibrant, this Strawberry Sorbet is a delightful treat perfect for warm days. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it delivers a burst of natural sweetness and tang.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups strawberries (360g)
  • 1/4 cup sugar of choice (pure maple syrup
  • white sugar
  • xylitol
  • etc.)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice or zest of 1 lemon
  • optional pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, then place them in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the sugar, lemon juice (or zest), and a pinch of salt if desired.
  3. Blend until smooth, then taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  4. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  5. Once partially frozen, stir with a fork to aerate and break up any ice crystals.
  6. Return to the freezer for another 2-3 hours until fully set. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a smoother texture, blend the sorbet again before serving. You can experiment with different sweeteners based on your preference.
