Description

Flaky, golden crescent rolls filled with savory or sweet fillings. These versatile rolls are quick to prepare, making them perfect for snacks, appetizers, or even dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 oz / 226 g) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup (60 g) shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup (60 g) diced cooked ham, turkey, or chicken (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried parsley (optional)

Sweet Options:

  • ¼ cup (80 g) fruit preserves (raspberry, strawberry, apricot)

  • ½ cup (85 g) chocolate chips or Nutella

  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.

  • Place 1 spoonful of filling (cheese, ham, or sweet option) at the wide end of each triangle.

  • Roll dough toward the tip, tucking in the sides to seal filling. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.

  • Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush over rolls (or use plain butter for sweet versions).

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

  • Cool slightly before serving. For sweet versions, dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • Avoid overstuffing to prevent leaks.

  • For savory versions, serve with dips like marinara or ranch.

  • Sweet rolls pair well with coffee or tea.

  • Freeze baked rolls for up to 1 month and reheat before serving.
