skinless chicken breasts
1 bottle of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Shred the chicken in the sauce before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, allow the chicken to marinate in the sauce overnight before cooking. Serve with rice or on buns for a delicious sandwich.
