Ingredients

1 ½ cups crushed chocolate cookies (like Oreos

without filling)

6 tablespoons unsalted butter

melted

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 pint vanilla ice cream

softened

1 pint chocolate ice cream

softened

¾ cup caramel sauce

½ cup chopped pecans

toasted

½ cup mini chocolate chips or chunks

½ cup caramel sauce

¼ cup hot fudge sauce

¼ cup pecan halves or chopped pecans

Whipped cream (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed chocolate cookies, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
  • Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool completely.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the softened vanilla and chocolate ice creams together until just combined.
  • Spread half of the ice cream mixture into the cooled crust, then drizzle with half of the caramel sauce, sprinkle with half of the chopped pecans and mini chocolate chips.
  • Add the remaining ice cream mixture, smoothing the top. Drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce, pecans, and chocolate chips. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  • Before serving, drizzle the pie with hot fudge sauce and garnish with pecan halves. Add whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Make sure the ice cream is softened for easy spreading. You can prepare the pie a day in advance and keep it in the freezer until ready to serve.
