- 4 beefsteak tomatoes peeled and sliced thin

- 1 cup heavy mayo preferably Duke’s
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and blind bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- Layer the sliced tomatoes in the crust, seasoning each layer with salt, pepper, basil, and chives.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy mayo and grated cheddar cheese until well combined, then spread evenly over the tomatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
