- 150 g Dark Chocolate
- 150 g Butter or Margarine
- 3 Free-range Eggs
- 250 g Caster Sugar (Superfine Sugar)
- 75 g Plain Flour (All-purpose Flour)
- 40 g Cocoa Powder
- 150 g Milk Chocolate
- 75 g White Chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the egg mixture and mix well.
- Sift in the flour and cocoa powder, and gently fold until just combined.
- Chop the milk and white chocolate and fold them into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is set but the center is still fudgy.
- Allow to cool in the dish before slicing into squares.
Notes
For extra fudginess, do not overbake the brownies. Allow them to cool completely before cutting for cleaner edges.
