- 1/2 C (60g) Brown Sugar
- 1 C (226g) Butter

- 2 Eggs
- plus one for egg wash
- 1 Tbsp (14g) Vanilla
- 1 C (224g) Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 C (56g) Chopped Walnuts
- 1 unbaked Pie Shell
- room temperature
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a pie dish with the unbaked pie shell.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla, and mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour, stirring until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the pie shell and spread it out evenly.
- Beat the additional egg and brush it over the edges of the pie crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
