Refreshing and sweet, this Watermelon Lemonade is the ultimate summer drink that will keep you cool on hot days.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold water
  • 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar (optional
  • adjust to taste)
  • Ice

  • Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the chopped watermelon and cold water, and blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the pulp.
  3. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and adjust sweetness by adding sugar, if desired.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves, if using.
